In der Adventszeit schreiben weit über 80.000 Kinder aus aller Welt an das Christkind in Himmelstadt. Wenn das Weihnachtspostamt am 1. Advent seine Türen öffnet, kann man die weihnachtliche Atmosphäre nirgendwo besser spüren als hier. Der Himmelstädter Weihnachtsmarkt findet rund um das Weihnachtspostamt statt. Er hat sich als einer der attraktivsten und schönsten in der Region etabliert, mit wechselnden Musikgruppen, Kinderprogrammen, Märchenerzählern, Zauberern und natürlich Handwerkermarkt und Weihnachtsmarktcafé.
